Background
The Red Hat Summit is the premier open source technology event to showcase the latest and greatest in cloud computing, platform, virtualization, middleware, storage, and systems management technologies. This year, Red Hat Summit, Camel One, and JUDCon were all located back to back at the Hynes Convention Center.
It was a great event. I got a chance to meet and hang out with a bunch of the Fuse guys and co-present with Scott Cranton at JUDCon on resilient messaging with ActiveMQ and Red Hat High Availability.

Resilient Enterprise Messaging with Fuse & Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Scott Cranton
Clustered Fuse Messaging provides next-generation IT infrastructure for increased performance, reliability, interoperability, and faster computing for enterprise customers. In this talk Scott McCarty (Red Hat Solutions Architect & Scott Cranton (Fuse Solutions Architect) will dive into a jointly designed highly available and performant archicture combining Fuse Messaging with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, High Availability and Resiliant File Storage.
Scott Cranton will explore the requirements of a fault tolerant and highly perfromant file backed messaging system. Scott McCarty will elaborate on meeting the needs of the messaging system while providing enterprise class fault detection and return to service.

Scott Cranton is a veteran in the enterprise software field with more than 22 years experience in various roles from creating to selling. He has been a software developer, architect, consultant, product manager, and sales engineer.
Scott has worked with many Fortune 100 enterprises in various industries, including telecommunications, capital markets, and insurance.
Scott McCarty is a Solutions Architect for Ohio and Michigan at Red Hat. He has worked in data center operations at small start ups, online retail, large enterprise and government. He has focused on open source software/scripting, networking, security, and infrastructure at NASA, Alltel, American Greetings, and Gamesnake.com.
He developed the Python based, open source, log analysis program Petit and has contributed code to several other open source projects including Cacti and Nagios.
